TextEverywhere allows users to send and receive SMS on their Apple devices using their landline telephone number.
This app. will only work in conjunction with a carrier offering the Neustar TextEverywhere service. Please check with your service provider that they support this service and that your number is provisioned.
The service itself if completely device independent and Neustar offer demonstration implementations on a number of platforms.
